Product Overview
JDZX10-6R / JDZX10-10R/160 is an indoor dry-type single-phase voltage transformer with a replaceable primary fuse, designed for medium-voltage AC systems with rated frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz. It is used for energy measurement, voltage monitoring and relay protection in indoor switchgear and distribution systems.
Unlike three-phase integrated VT products, the JDZX10 series is a single-phase pillar-structure voltage transformer. It is suitable for applications where each phase is installed as an independent VT unit, allowing flexible cabinet layout, easier phase-by-phase replacement and simpler maintenance. For international product pages, the 6kV version should be presented as a 7.2kV class VT, while the 10kV / 11kV application should be presented as a 12kV class VT.

- Three-phase integrated VT replacement where one-piece three-phase structure is specified
- Applications requiring special ratios or burdens without technical confirmation
Key Technical Advantages
Fully Enclosed Epoxy Cast-Resin Body
The transformer adopts a fully enclosed epoxy resin casting process. The core and windings are encapsulated in resin, providing good moisture resistance, insulation stability and mechanical protection. This design is especially useful for indoor switchgear installations in humid or tropical areas.
Replaceable Primary Fuse Protection
The primary outlet is equipped with a fuse for short-circuit protection. The fuse can be replaced more conveniently than an internal non-serviceable protection structure, reducing maintenance difficulty for panel builders and end users.
Single-Phase Pillar Structure
The pillar-type structure allows independent phase installation. This is suitable for switchgear designs that require separate phase arrangement, easier maintenance access or flexible voltage transformer configuration.
Low-Maintenance Indoor Design
The product does not require special maintenance under normal indoor operating conditions. Regular removal of surface dust and dirt is normally sufficient, provided that the transformer is operated within the specified environmental limits.

Important Test Note
Warning: The power-frequency withstand voltage test cannot be performed between primary-secondary and secondary-ground circuits. The induction withstand voltage test can be performed instead. This note should be retained in technical documentation to avoid incorrect testing procedures.
Installation

The JDZX10 series uses a compact single-phase body with epoxy resin insulation and a fuse mounted on the primary outlet. The bottom plate includes grounding bolts and four mounting holes, allowing stable installation inside switchgear compartments.

Engineering Selection Guide
Select by System Voltage
Use JDZX10-6R for 6kV or 6.3kV systems, normally presented as a 7.2kV class voltage transformer. Use JDZX10-10R for 10kV or 11kV systems, normally presented as a 12kV class voltage transformer.
Select by Secondary Function
For metering circuits, select the appropriate accuracy class and burden. For relay protection or residual voltage detection, confirm whether a protection-class secondary winding or residual-voltage winding is required.
Select by Maintenance Requirement
If the project requires easier fuse replacement and independent phase maintenance, JDZX10 single-phase fused VT is more suitable than a fully integrated three-phase VT.
Select by Cabinet Layout
Confirm the mounting space, fuse access direction, secondary terminal location and grounding point before finalizing the switchgear layout.
Compliance and Testing
The JDZX10 series is designed according to medium-voltage voltage transformer requirements and may be supplied according to GB20840.3-2013, IEC61869-3:2011 and special customer requirements. Final standard references should follow the project technical agreement.
