JDZQN-10 and JDZXN-10 are indoor epoxy cast-resin metering voltage transformers designed for 10kV medium-voltage power systems. Based on electromagnetic induction, they convert the high voltage of an AC power line into standardized low secondary voltage signals for electric energy metering, voltage measurement, monitoring devices and relay protection input circuits.
The two models should be presented together but not treated as identical. JDZQN-10 is mainly used as a standard metering VT with a 10/0.1kV voltage ratio. JDZXN-10 is used where the system requires a grounded or phase-to-neutral voltage transformer configuration, with a typical ratio of 10/√3 / 0.1/√3 / 0.1/3. This makes JDZXN-10 suitable for metering plus protection-related voltage output in 10kV systems.
