The JDZX11-10/160 / UNE10 indoor epoxy cast-resin voltage transformer is a single-phase, phase-to-earth voltage transformer for medium-voltage switchgear. This model should be differentiated from the previous JDZ11-10A/185 / UNZ10 product. Working Principle
The JDZX11-10/160 / UNE10 voltage transformer operates according to electromagnetic induction. The primary winding is connected between phase and earth in a medium-voltage system, and the secondary winding outputs a reduced standard voltage signal for instruments, meters, relays and control systems. The epoxy cast-resin insulation provides electrical isolation between the primary high-voltage side and the secondary low-voltage circuit.
In three-phase protection schemes, three single-phase JDZX11 units can be connected in a Y / Y / open-delta arrangement. The measurement secondary winding provides phase voltage signals, while the residual-voltage winding can be used for earth-fault detection. The final wiring scheme must be selected according to the system grounding mode, relay protection logic and approved terminal diagram.

Voltage Adaptation
